Subsidised Farm Business Coaching with Kim Deans for Farm Businesses located in NSW
Applications are open until the 7th October 2024 for the next round of Farm Business Coaching as part of the NSW Farm Business Resilience Program. You can now nominate Kim Deans as your referring coach as part of the EOI process. A 3 month intensive online program is commencing soon, along with a 6 month program where Kim Deans will be coaching a group of farmers located in the Northern Tablelands and North Coast LLS regions. The 6 month program will include individual online coaching, an on farm coaching visit, face to face group coaching and farm tours. Follow this link for more information and to submit your EOI.
Successful Tree Planting Workshop
Angus Deans will be presenting this workshop at the New England Garden Festival in Armidale on the 2nd of November.
This will be an interactive, demonstration style workshop focused on practical tips for tree planting success. While tree planting can seem straightforward, Angus will share practical wisdom to help you to make the most of your investment of time, energy and money to get your trees established well. New tree growers as well as those more experienced will take home practical information for improving their success in establishing trees.
Topics will include: Tree selection (choosing the best trees at the nursery), Site selection , Soil (tips for different soil types, soil biology, amendments), Water requirements, Tree planting tips (ground preparation essentials), Establishment, Tree care.
